5 things to do in Port Perry Ontario
Port Perry is a community located in Scugog Ontario, Canada. A a population under 10 000 inhabitants. The town of Port Perry is located 84 Km Northeast of central Toronto and 25 KM North of Oshawa Ontario.
Primarily known for it summer activities, there are still many events and shops that may entice you to make the trip in the spring too.

While the sun stays out in the sky and warms the streets, it is never too late to enjoy the cool sounds of the Bob Brough jazz Trio. This trio features Bob Brough on Tenor Saxophone, Adrean Farrugia on Piano and Artie Roth on Bass. After a successful cross Canada tour the trio are set to perform at the Jesters Court on April 14th. A Miami Vice
After the “Staying Alive” era or error and before the time of the “Electronic Sounds”- droid music, there was the 80”s perhaps an era of some of the most diverse music of the past 30 years. The Royal Canadian legion brings back “Thirsty Thursdays.” Dust off your dancing shoes, pull out your hairspray and be prepared to dance the night away. This is sure to be night that will be a night for both young and old to place in their scrapbook/ phones of memories.

This May marks the 20th anniversary of the Lake Scugog Studio tour. The event was founded in 1979 by three artists to give local artists an opportunity to showcase their creations. Each year the participation has grown stronger with more than 40 artists featured, each exhibiting their own unique style. Using a myriad of materials, there will be something for everyone.
